PG&E REACH PROGRAM

Our utility assistance program is called REACH. Applications are submitted directly to Dollar Energy Fund. Our organization’s role is to help complete and submit applications. We do not have the authority to approve or deny applications, and we cannot view or provide updates on the status of submitted applications.

If you have not heard back within three business days after your submitted application, please contact Dollar Energy directly at 1-888-282-6816.

Application assistance is available on:

Monday 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Thursday  Madera Only 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The utility assistance program offers two different assistance options. Please see the programs listed below for more details:

REACH PROGRAM:  

Eligible for up to $800 credit. (This credit amount can change at any time) **REACH applicants will automatically be enrolled in Match My Payment**  

  • Have PG&E bill with a Termination Notice: 15-Days’ Notice, 48 Hrs. Notice, Shut-off Notice, Shut off but not in collections 
  • Proof of ALL income for the past 30 days 
  • If there is no income in the household, applicants must complete Zero Income form.  
  • Meet household income guidelines. See here. 
  • Provide valid email address. The status for application will be sent via email within 3-4 business days from Dollar Energy. 

MATCH MY PAYMENT

Eligible for a match of up to $1,000 or until funding runs out. This means for every dollar you pay, they will match your payment.

What you will need:

  • A past due bill of $100 or more
  • Your PG&E bill
  • Proof of ALL income for the past 30 days
  • Meet household income guidelines. See here. 
  • Provide valid email address. The status for application will be sent via email within 3-4 business days from Dollar Energy.
